In 2016, Emma was diagnosed with a rare phyllodes tumor at just 19 years old. Despite her struggles, she kept her feelings to herself, not wanting to burden those she loved. In 2017, she married Chad Miller, and the following year, they welcomed their first child, Valor.
Over the next few years, Emma and Chad faced the heartbreaking loss of seven babies before finally giving birth to their son, Titus, exactly four years after Valor was born. It wasn't until recently that they realized the weight of their circumstances was too much to bear on their own and that they were being called to share their story with others. They made the decision to share their story with their community, who rallied around them in support.
